50 Million Tweets Recorded Per Day on Twitter

According to Techtree.com (http://www.techtree.com/India/News/50_Million_Tweets_Recorded_Per_Day_on_Twitter/551-109498-643.html), 50 million Tweets are recorded every day on Twitter!

That's pretty impressive!  :o

Yea, for sure - and what about the "adult related" content that have been seen in the last couple of weeks on Twitter? It seems like they are having some problems in filtering those things out.  ???

Yes, that's true. Twitter, facebook, and myspace are all nothing but a bunch of nonsense yet people flock there. Put up a website with some useful and valuable information and you have to fight for every hit.

That is true and now they are turning into the advertising capitol of the world too. End game it will turn everyone else off that is there to socialize.

Still it's pretty impressive. It would be interesting to know how many of these 'tweets' that are made by robots/programs.

Yes, it has turned into more advertising than social but I don't thinks this is a bad things.
Twitter has grown according to your numbers and it been a great place to see what others have to offer.  I have learned alot from other peoples tweets
